I gotta say I was expecting something a bit more subtle. The scales is a really cool touch. I'd like to see how you did that.

subtle this bike is definitely NOT! I doing all the scales by hand. first in pen, then in enamel. time consuming to say the least!

got it rideable today!! took it for a quick spin around the hood. kids were yelling "captain America!". still gotta alot of kinks to work out, but this is the look of the bike. if I ever try to make moon disks from scratch again I hope someone SLAPS me!!

thanks guys! making the disks was a BIG pain in my a##, but they do look cool. they will look even better when I get my spacers on., right now they look wavy? still need to tighten it up some. now to take it all back apart and clear coat the heck out of it!

not a whole lot of progress. I did get it riding smoothly. I went on short rides the 4th and 5th. the bike sure grabs peoples attention!
