This weekend I didn't find any bikes worth buying at the antique fair; however, I found this old carbide lamp. Pretty sure that it's a little mining lamp, but thought it might look cool on an old bike. Also found a pedal wrench for $1, so it was a pretty good day.

Cool little lamp. You need a couple full sized ones? The main house on our farm had acetylene (carbide) lighting, in fact, the piping is still in place. The lamps are somewhere in the attic.

I'll try and scare a couple up. House was built in 1841, there is stuff in the attic from then through now... Including spoils of war from Civil War, WW1 and WW2.

It will take awhile. Tin roof and 100+ degree weather don't mix real well.
