I've done a ton of fiberglass/composites. (all boat stuff) and cardboard christmas tubes are a better homebuild option IMO than the styrofoam. the rest of hat build is pretty right on..

I have been really diggin the hand laid bamboo bikes, I maybe my next build will be composite lugged spars...
