Hi all,

New member here from The Netherlands!
I always wanted a cruiser bike, so I was searching the internet for a nice one to buy. I could not find one, so I thought: "How difficult can it be to build your own bike?"
So I ordered a Basman Project 346 frame and started my project by 'learning by doing' without any prior experience. And it has been a fun (and challenging) experience so far.

Came across this nice forum and thought that I may learn some stuff from here.

I’m from Tilburg in the south of the Netherlands.

It’s interesting that you cannot find the bicycle of your dreams in the Netherlands, because I’ve always considered that part of the world the real euro-bicycle capital.

But we never see any bicycles in central California that were built in the Netherlands, so please post photos.
