Carlisle bmx tires

Had to cut one of the carlisle bmx tires off the murray x24 I picked up the other day. it was so dry rotted stiff I couldnt get it off the rim. How hard are the 24 x 2.25 carlisle bmx tires to come by?

would even be happy with any other wide 24 inch tire is there anyone that knows where I can get some nice ones? the skinny 24 mtn bike tires look silly on it.
