Anyone know if I can remove a rear standard sprocket and replace it with a rear skip tooth sprocket? I have the front skip tooth but the rear skip tooth sprocket is on a junk wheel! Any advise guys?

If your rear newer style sprocket has an even number of teeth, just grind every other one off... But only if it has an even number... Otherwise your donor hub/sprocket from your junk wheel have to be the same brand as your usable hub/wheel...

I think that's the rear sprocket with the row of holes all the way around. Yes, you should be able to switch. Gary

a quick warning any of the thread on skip cogs are normally a bear to get off. start by soaking the whole thing in something like chem tool or gas to try and get all the crud out and then have at that lock ring
