Walking past the bikes in Walmart as usual and there's a cruiser there, steel frame with built in rear rack, comes in brown, think it's a huffy, it has wide alloy wheels and 26x2.35" tires. The tires look great! If they come on a Huffy that costs $135 then where can I get some without buying the bike? Schalbes in that size will run you over $30 each.

Next time I go I'll look for a brand on the tire. I like fat tires, but I don't have a fat wallet.

AMEN! I'm looking at dropping almost $80 for a pair of brown Fat Franks, a more reasonably alternative would be nice, brown or not. I know we all love our projects, but it's tough dropping that much cha-ching on a $25, rattle can finish, homemade mods, yard sale find.

Enough members here, we need to lean on Huffy to get them to hook us up with their supplier for those 2.35" wide tires (they look really nice). Have them sell them to us for $15 each in black and white, and if my white tire dying actually works, we could make them any color we wanted.

Specialized still has these on sale for $20. Very cool and superb quality.
