Removing stickers is a chore! A heat gun helps to remove the sticker but the glue remains. Goo gone or lacquer thinner works pretty good but it is a lot of work.
yes it is they do not wanna come off.
im using a hair dryer and goo gone it is time consuming but its getting there. I may try a paint removing recipe my buddy told me about to strip the frame to bare metal but again that can be a huge issue more then I wanna deal with .
we shall see

Awesome idea for a cheap project....

forgot to add my chain choice I am thinking one of these would look cool.

because this is a cheap frame and nothing fancy I am considering cheap spinoffs but they have to have the look we will see what I come up with
more updates soon.

A few years back, RRB member @yoothgeye asked if other members could send him a few spare links of 1/8" chain so he could cobble something like that together. I don't recall how it turned out, but it's a good idea and i could send a few white links, maybe some red.... and it'd be cheaper, too.

i do recall that with the chain pieces
I might go that route but I found a relatively cheap multi colored chain I am considering but if it doesn't work out that is not a bad diea at all.
yeah this is a very low budget build basically just to show my 12 year old daughter how to work on bikes plus I always wanted a pit bike and that is the first thought when I saw this frame.

well little progress on this one as it is on the wayyyy backburner I decided to mount some old school tires and rims from a 1970's huffy thunder road that was bets off as parts.
the rims need some cleaning but they are not bad off at all and they capture he pit bike look I looking for.
here is the latest progress

Looks almost identical to the one I used to ride to school! Then I had a growth spurt...

Luke.
lol yeah same thing happened to me with bmx bikes this one is a combination of newer 2000 something huffy and older 70 something wheels and tires I am still waiting on funds to get the layback seat post and a few other parts but it is coming along.
more updates soon
