Congratulations German Monarrez on winning the Chicago Tail Draggers 2017 raffle bike!

Thanks to the people that donated parts, to the labor involved to get it to where it is, to everyone that took a chance on buying a ticket or 45 of them. You know who you are and we couldn't do this without you.

Along with raised $1434 to donate to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

------
Bike was taken down to bare metal and powder coated clear gloss, and wheels where powder coated as well. New GT front hub and New Sturmey Archer 3spd rear hub as well. Thompson seat and ball end grips. Pin Striped by Famous Dave Walters. Head light worksand is very bright with the led bulb. New brick pattern tires and bars from Smoopy. It rides very nice and would not be a cheap bike to build as nice as it has been. Thankfully a lot of people helped with donations, and ALL proceeds will go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Thanks again for your help and support.

Also I'll have the bike at Ann Arbor for viewing and ticket sales

I was going to ask how long tickets would be on sale.

Will the bike have the tank panel in place then?

I want to give back as much as I can.
So I will buy a bunch of tickets and I also want to make the trophies for the show. But I do need to know how many and what categories...

I started on the prototype. I was planning on using old flea market tinplate, silver plate, and aluminum for the actual "cup" parts, with misc bike parts added and stained oak bases cut to fit with some engraved brassplates "Best of..." The brassplates are the only real cost, the fleas are good to me.

Carl.

Don't think I've told you this Carl, but your awesome!

We will get with you about the trophies. I can only imagine what you have planned. If it's anything like your bikes we're going to be in awe. We'll talk soon

I like it.

Hopefully this crappy weather cooperates tomorrow, looking forward to seeing it.

Great looking bike guys, got my tickets today.

I'm gonna have to get some more tickets, when will you cut off sales?

Bump for a reminder. Get your ticket / tickets! It will only take one to win it, but the more you buy the more likely you are to win it! And 100% of the proceeds go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Down to the last week of sales. Currently at $880, $320 behind what we did last year If you want tickets this is the time! And we could use the sales. $2 helps.

Thank you very much those that have supported us we couldn't do it witout you.

Also, all you parts donators, I haven't forgot you. You will be getting free tickets.
