I've been wanting to put a bike on the mantel for a while, finally got the chance. Turned out well, I think I made a believer of my wife(probably will never get it back). Kids thought I was crazy when I mentioned it, but they had a blast helping.
Hiawatha Seminole, if I remember correct it's a 55. All original, nice paint, except where some kid tried to repaint Hiawatha on it. I have done nothing but wipe the dust off this gem, it's gorgeous. This is probably my favorite bike and my first tanker. I picked it up this summer from an old timer down the street who is always buying and selling bikes. I drive by his house every day because he always has something new. He found this one at a garage sale and though I don't know what he paid for it, I know it wasn't much, because of the grin on his face when I told him I'd pay the $40 he was asking. It's getting a laid back seat post and maybe some cream Fat Frank's for Christmas. I will take some decent pictures of it once the lights are off.

Speaking of laid back seat post, has anyone every made one with the bolt and wedge style post? That's what is on this bike, I like the clean look, but at 6' 3" I need to get back a few inches for it to even be remotely comfortable. Any ideas would be appreciated.
