Just a tip, go with stainless spokes, they won't rust if left outside or live near the ocean.

im gonna have half of them brass plated so they need to b chrome and then the brass goes on

Stainless steel is a viable substrate for brass plating...

I have seen plenty of zinc-plated spokes, but chromed spokes, not so much. They do exist, but seem popular mostly with lowrider guys... Stainless spokes are the way to go...

Stainless will polish very easily and look as good as chrome plating for a long time. Chrome plate will chip as the spokes flex.
