CL - $20 find... Las Vegas BABY!

It has a bent rim, a bent fender and the front brake needs some help. I have some ideas about matching up some parts I have to make it even more FUN! I don't know anything about the bike.

Pretty happy with my newest $20 find though!

Nice find now break out the heat gun and plastic razors and get rid of the cracked stickers and redo them with paint

Nice, Personally I'd paint the fork black with red darts to tone it down a bit. Other than that it is awesome!

I say tone it UP and paint with stripes on the forks to match the tank decal.

Ok, so I think there is starting to be a plan here. I think I should touch up the frame and clear coat over the really big stickers capturing them in all their slightly cracked glory. The spots on the chain guards and fender skirts I have much less affection for and am thinking that I will either replace with reflective material or paint them with using road sign glass spheres embeded in the paint and clear coat over them. The rear rim is probably savable with a true and tension of the spokes but I am thinking about painting them red.

BUT I think nobody including me is in love with the front forks and handle bars.

Got around to pulling the rear wheel today. Despite some optimism in that there were no broken spokes and several loose ones the rim was too far gone to bother salvaging. So I ordered a pair of solid red weismann rims and black spokes and nipples. Hope to have it rolling again in a week or so.
