I came across a nice small old road bike while volunteering at our local bike Co op a few years ago, gave a donation for it and hung it up in the shed, well now it's time to grease the wheels as they say and get it mobile, I forgot to take a before shot but oh well, I'm not going to change anything that doesn't need to be changed so everything will be cleaned greased and put back, I have a new brown seat and wraps, cheap but looks nice and will compliment the yellow paint and original brown cables, the wheels are missmatched, the rear is original steel but rusty and the front although classic is more modern alloy and the 27" tyres are a little too warn on the walls even though there is good treat, I'm sure I have some 27" whitewalls somewhere, once it's done I will be selling as it's too small for me

Sanded and painted the reflecter/brake stopper

Everything has been cleaned regreased and reassembled with new gear/brake cables, replaced black downtube cable stopper with a nice chrome one, plus chrome headset and bottom bearing cup on the head tube from my old skool chrome stash,

You rattled my memory cells with this one! My first 10 speed was a yellow Centurion with Suntour GT derailleurs.
Since I have been on this forum I have seen 3 of my old bikes (or at least rides). Very cool!
