Cleaned up my "spaceship"... fender ornanment...thingy

Anywho... like the title says, I made somewhat of an effort to clean up the fender emblem on my Mercury Fleetwing. Not sure what it's called... have heard it called a "spaceship"... so... it's a spaceship. LOL! I hadn't really intended to clean it up so this is the best "before" picture I've got...

I was taking a tool back to my shop this morning and when I walked past the bike I was just drawn to it for some reason... who knows why... but anyway. I didn't like how this one part of the bike looked... thought I needed to try something... so...

After a few minutes with some polish...

And a few minutes more...

It might not be perfect... but I think it's better. :wink:

Thanks guys! I used "Blue Magic" on my spaceship... I'm sure I could remove it from the fender... but... that would require removing the wheel... I was motivated this morning... just not that motivated...
