Yeah Kenda used to have a "Weekly Special" section on there Web site. I also have a box or 6 set's of $4 26" Flame tires I have never used :roll:


I know I have said this before.... Why didn't I have it media blasted :roll: :roll: :x

Stripper did very little to the fenders.

About a thousand layers of black house paint came off the frame. If I had hosed it off first instead of scrubbing with Scotchbrite pad I may have found a good original paint job :roll:

What great bike day!

Picked the kids up from School and drove out to Geneva IL. Beat the traffic. :wink:

Got the fork from Gary :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Even got a ride in with the kids and Gary.

Rode down to the Dam Bar ( that's the name!)(no that's not the name think beaver dam :roll: ) had a great steak sandwich and a beverage.

The fork back home..

BTW...

Garret has no idea this bike is being built.

The bike has been collecting dust in the corner of the basement for 2 years

I think he will be very surprised to find this under the tree :mrgreen:

Super warm when I got home from work tonight 55 degrees but real windy and a little rain. Time to paint in the stairway

Got up early finished with the primer on the frame

Got silver on the other parts

My camera doesn't do the sliver justice....I'm real happy how it looks 8)

Sweet looking build , great to have the kids involved . Is that the right dhainguard for it , kind of looks like a Murray guard . I have a extra 24" CWC guard if you want

Frame is looking good!
I'm doing the same kinda thing, spraying in the garage (20F)then drying in the basement,
Its a pain but it seems to work.
Can't wait to see how the CW's going to look all together
Does it have a name yet?
