My friend brought his mothers bike over for us to get rolling again and we would like to know the year if possible. It has a skip tooth and wheel adjusters like a prewar schwinn. Thank you.

I'm trying to see what's next to the A at the end. Is it a 5?

It should be an ACw, which would put it at '50 or '51. Clean original paint with reverse scheme fenders; nice looking bike.

It is a cw at end. the grip bell is cool but I'm not sure if its missing something or you just flick it with your thumb . That grip won't twist or anything differant?

It appears the bell stays stationary while the grip twist like a motorcycle throttle. The grip has a cog that has the dinger and by twisting it spins the dinger out into bell. It's been soaking in 40 for days now.
