Clinton NC ballooner

I found what appears to be a 50s Huffman but, because the seller is 75 years young I can't get any better pictures to be sure. He says it is a Western Flyer.
because Clinton NC is better than a 6 hr round trip for me I was hoping someone here lives nearby and take a gander at for me. I have negotiated a good price based on the one picture I have of it. But, can't pull the trigger till I see more or better yet someone can look at it for me.

It's a 50s Huffman W.Flyer all right! Has the cool dragster graphic on the tank. Looks like the rims are newer, having reflectors and all, but still, otherwise complete OG 50s tanker!! Go for it! -Adam

I need help though. This guy is just nor interested in shipping much less take more pictures.
He has the OG rims and tires but said they were pretty rusty.

Anybody willing to help a member out here?
The seller has agreed to the offered $100 but said if it doesn't sell by next Thursday, there was a guy from across the state going to pick it up on Thursday.
I just can't get down there this week.
I will pay for the help.

I will pay for your services. I can arrange a pickup from you at a later date. I just can't get there this week. Truck is in the shop and won't be available for some time at this point. Lost 1st and 2nd gear on the train....dagnabbit I miss my truck.

Its a 6 hr round trip? That bikes worth about 300=350 in my honest opinion. If you really want it, the drive there is worth it. I havent seen a really nice dragster decal set like that. That gas money is worth it if you could rent a truck to go down there. Or have someone drive you.

Yeah, but, the price was raised when he figured out what he had. With a lot of help from my friends here ( thanks to tpender3 )I did complete the purchase and the pick up. But, its still in NC.
Still another 4 hr one way trip. Was hoping Tony could or would head to the Richmond show next month but, that is a heck of a drive for him too.

I will admit, without the help of our friends of RRB and the Cabe, some of us wouldn't get what we need in this hobby or as the wife seems to make clear "addiction".

The rocket car Western Flyer graphics is what made this one bike so appealing. Should be getting some better pics of the complete bike when he gets a chance.

tpender3 sent me some better pics....not the best condition paint wise but, he should clean up nice enough for a solid rider.
Got to love the graphics!!

I'm not sure about this rack though, interesting design though. Should be a solid rack like the one pictured below in the 51 catalog ad

And then the search goes on for the expensive Rocket Ray.
