Spacetrucker... that's what i decided to name my newest build. It's a early 60's Spaceliner frame and rat trap fork with a unknown year murray missle tank. Other stuff includes 68 spoke rims, 26 x 2.30 flame tread tires and an old one piece mountain bike handlebar. I decided to go with simple and effective with this one, the end result was the most comfortable bike i've ever ridden. Definitely one of my favorites now.

I am diggin the hubcaps, did you make them or buy them somewhere?

i bought them off ebay a while back. they are made of steel and thread directly onto the axles. i guess i was lucky to get them as i've never seen another set before or since.

amazing how a set of wheels can make the bike

what are the caps?

these are the caps. they're chrome plated steel and i'm pretty sure they were made on a lathe as i can find no casting marks. they thread straight onto the axles and are rather heavy for their size.
