Coating Fender Braces-Zinc-Cad-???

Here is a Question on Braces...I am Repainting a Couple sets of Fenders and will Have to Recoat the braces...Do they Make a Similar coating in a Spray to Original stuff...I was thinking a Zinc or Cad....Just Not into a Chrome or Nickel as that wasn't Factory on Most that I have seen...Anyone Know of Any... 8)

I got a Timiya hobby paint that has a shine to it similar to Zinc plate, I think it's called Silver Frost.
Otherwise take it down or send it away to get coated.

Super easy to make old braces look original. Bead blast the braces and spray them with clear satin. I've done lots of them that way and they still look good after 15 yrs. Gary
