New Build: Coconut Runner
I've been wanting a "fixie" looking bike but still freewheel function and I've been inspired by a couple of bikes on the site "Flying Merkel" types.
I bought the bike for $5, flat black, no front wheel, no chain....noth'n! After I started to clean it up I found out it was a "Azuki"...Kewl! I was able to clean of the badge and did some website research. It's not worth a lot but a great candidate for re-use and a new build.
 PLAN:
strip paint: I used Tal-Strip as seen on other posting here...thanks guys it work great!
add mid-bar (fabrication!)
diamond plate insert (gas tank style, fabrication!)
paint: orange
new rims
white tires
re-use seat and post
clean and re-use brakes, crank and gears
roll new aluminum handle bars round (fabrication!)
2-3 weeks
This is how it started
