I didn't think I ever needed, or wanted a bike like this until I saw it in person  This bike popped up in the local CL and I couldn't pass it up. Turns out I was the second of several emails and the first guys was a no show. Just to get the bike home I had to remove the wheels and rear fender for it to fit on the car's hitch rack (I was worried I would clip other cars going down the interstate. )

Here is my new 36er next to the 29er in the back and a regular 26 in the front. I have the fenders for it but I think it looks better without them. I wish it had a three speed coaster, but for now I couldn't be happier!

Dude, you are so freakin lucky to score that. I only wish something like that would come up on Satco CL. Have fun cruisin.

sweet score! only drawback is cokers got you by the short hairs if you ever need tires though
theres one floating around sact.(saw it 2 years ago at the turkeyday ride)....havent seen it for sale yet though

What does rubber run for a beast like that? I'm scared to ask. Never even knew there was a such thing. I was expecting to see a High wheel style bike. lol.

I have seen them online for $80 a tire  , but lucky for me the Coker store is in town. The good news is that these tires look new.

I have a Bonelli with that size of chainring, you'll get up to speed in a hurry, I'll guarantee that much!

NICE ! I rode one of these a few months ago , a 36" tall tire Coker Unicycle,it even has a handbrake ! i need to start saving my pennies for sure ,this thing cost around $450  maybe one will pop-up on CL

I have a Coker Wheelman.... (I used to have two, chopped one up to make a trike) One of the most fun bikes to ride I own... Always get people with jaws on the floor...

You can still get the Monster bike from Coker, runs $699 (plus shipping)

One of my buddies showed up with one on one our rides and it was the first time I'd seen one (I was trying to see how many times I could use 'one' in a sentence...4 is pretty good).

Man is it a headturner!!

That is definitely uniquely cool! Those tires look gargantuan. What is a 36'er (pardon my newb-ish-ness on the subject)?

I love the look of Cokers, but your first pic has a straight bar with "Arm and Hammer" orange paint. That stopped me dead. Nice! You have a thread about that thing?

Great score, btw. I always thought their lines begged for some rounded drop bars like a boardtracker.

MIKE.

It's referring to the wheel size. Standard mountain bikes and cruisers use 26" wheels (ISO 559) but over the last several years mountain bikes that use 700c wheels (ISO 622) have become pretty popular and they're marketed as "29'ers". So a 36er would be a bike with ~36" wheels.

There's also the horribly underrated "way-too-big'er"
