Are the Coker wheelman penny farthing worth much? I know what they ran new from coker but from what their site is saying they are not selling them right now.

Pretty sure they won't sell them again.

I think they are worth only what you are willing to pay. If you showed up on one of those with other guys riding actual penny farthings and replicas, you'd be laughed at. That being said, I'm trying to get one from a guy locally that has one, if I can get in touch with him it will cost me $40-$50.

Seen a pair of them at the swapmeet (mostly car stuff), last weekend. The owner was asking $500 each, way to much for me. I think they took them home, did not sale.

Wasn't that close to new pricing or even more? These things are more of a novelty than a collectible.

The Coker website says there's a new redesigned model coming out soon. I'd like to have one of the old ones they made, even though the wheel is only 36". I'd give $100 plus shipping.

yea, me,too, WC. 100 wouldnt break me, and chances are ya can sell them and not lose money, in the right crowd. I keep waiting to find one on CL. 8)

Yeah they was about 420 new. The only penny farthing around my town Is a replica of one at our uptown drug store so a wheelman will turn heads in my area, Im trying to work on a trade for one for some of my lightweight projects I have stacked up.

I just looked at their website, Coker is selling the Wheelmans again, 900 bucks. I don't know if it is a new design or not.
