OK members of the site! I need your help...

I'm on the search for this springer, tank, light, rack light/reflector,stand and seat bar. Please lead me to other members that may have them or places that you have seen them FOR SALE! The reason that I didn't post this in the wanted section is because I also want information on these items!
*What type of springers is it?
*Does it work good?
*How much will these tanks put me back?
*Is that a reflector or light on the rack?
*What was the original color of 41 Colsons?

Here is my build thread. Check it out and let me know if you can help.
The bike is called "COOL BLUE"

Thanks,

Dude, that's a tall order, but worth it in my opinion if a person's pocketbook can survive.

The rear lens is actually a rear light, there's a small canister that holds (1) 'D' cell battery in the back of the rack. If this is the same one as the Elgins of the same era it takes a tail lens that is different in size slightly from the more common Delta brand tail lenses. Translation, it's almost unfindable. I've been looking for one for a little while now and called lots of people, no luck. If you get a line on more than one let me know please.

I REALLY like the old looptails.

Well I just finished my first "Rust"oration on a 1947 Monark and I found that bringing bikes back to its original form with a "Rat" touch is so much fun! Look in the gallery section for the "Monark Rustoration" topic!

Looks like you have a great start to a one year only bike. The Springer is a pretty cool springer dont know how well they work yet but there is no spring there is rubber packed inside the center piece where the truss rods mount to and it floats up and down like the SW Floating hub and also the same tech as the Tucker Car for shocks. The Tank is very very had to find and if you do expect to pay $400-$800 for one. the rear light takes a special lens which I was told is also a one year thing but was also used on other bikes like the 41 Elgins. The Color combos on these bikes where Red and silver with white trim, Blue and light blue with white trim, Maroon and beige with white trim. the bike you have now is a firestone Cruiser that is why there isnt a springer or a hole in the rack for the tail light. The headlight is a Delta wedge light there is two types you wont the one that is pictured here. good luck with the build Im working on my Boys and girls supercruiser right now waiting on the chrome to get back.

Not giving any "advice" here, but, buy it.

Also, if you had not noticed, the first Ebay item of Dr. T's post is for the lens only. The seller is a good reliable guy, bike expert, and contributor over at CABE, but those lens-only Ebay items have almost tricked me more than once.

Gooood! How's the project coming along???
ummmm. Its slow and expensive. I have it ridable for now. I'm just trying to get the research done that I need to have all my parts painted. I need to know the exact original colors before any major painting work is done.

I have the same headlight, but with no switch or battery tray. I think it wires to a tank or battery box. Did they do a repop of the wedge light? Mine doesn't appear to have been used.
