I bought this truss rod on Ebay for cheap because the top of the rods were broken so I tapped the top of the rods and fabed a top bracket. It was advertised as a 1930s Colson truss rod but I don't know? It has no drop outs for the front wheel, it has holes drilled in the fork for the wheel axle and you have to spread the fork legs to get the axle in. It works great. Can anyone confirm that this truss rod fork on the red bike is from a Colson. Thanks
JLB the LWB 1936 Colson. BDW cartridge front hub, Sachs 2-speed Automatic rear, Wheelsmith DB spokes and alloy nipples, Mavic rims, Redline Flight and Profile ring.
Still working on the front fender...she's being difficult
Thought I posted the finished 38-39 Goodyear men's Snaptank, added a 37 ladies to make a his and her's pair.
Went a little to the extreme trying to find the OG paint on these two. As you can see I didn't find any paint worth saving.
