Saw some handlebars and wheels poking out from under a tarp at a house not far from me so I left a note in the mailbox. the owner met me there today and I pulled this out. Everythign else was 70's 10 speeds except for a faded out ladies Schwinn Breeze.

I made an offer on this green bannana and loaded it up.

Just noticed the gizmo that holds the cable is broken...anyone have a SA shifter like this?

I know nothing about muscle bikes, but for $20 I think I did OK even considering the issues..Already have a PM out to Chimichanga for a pair of tires for it.

Wow, nice find, I have a Sturmey Archer grip shifter that would be really cool on that. PM if interested.

I may go with a non original shifter just to keep the total $ invested to a reasonable level. My 5yr old loves green so this may sit for a while till he can ride it. who knows though if the right stuff came along..

Excellent find - gives me hope some might still be lurking someplace ...

Nice! I had the brother in Red. But I traded it for a sears Screamer. I miss it though. The Screamer is more unique, but the columbia was a way better ride. Amazing how well these seats clean up! Love the length of these sissy bars too.

As bought $35:
