This yellow bicycle caught my eye at the auction last year. I remember seeing a Columbia bike ad in Boys Life of a bicycle just like it. Now I want to build that bike and ride it!
Love those tires I've got a cream set on my 47 Hawthorne and my wife has red on her 63 Schwinn Racer. They seem to be pretty good on longevity as well I've got 400+ miles on mine and they've still got plenty of rubber left and are crack free. Great choice. From local century rides to off road rides it has served me well. I tried the wide slicks and it fits the new frame well.

Love this bike, My first 10 speed was a 60s Columbia I got at the local hardware store. Cost $35. It was a very well built bike and lasted forever. Your weak point for a klunker is the front fork. Be careful as it will fold if you do any fast bumpy stuff. That is basically the only real change I would make if it were mine. Love it.This yellow bicycle caught my eye at the auction last year.
