Columbia Tandem

Picked this bad boy up a few days ago. I have been looking for a tandem forever prices really dropped lately. Worked out a trade for my nice little schwinn Skipper and a set of S-7s wheels. He got a solid deal and I got the quality time bike my daughter and I have been looking for. Everything looks original and in real nice shape. Maybe some apes but other than that its staying original.

Oh and he threw in a Sun adult trike. Rust bucket, no wheels and I'd be ashamed to post it as is, but it's got a sturmey 3 speed a set apes and a bunch of surface rust. Camper bike!...cause the beer flows like wine when camping. The extra wheel won't hurt.

Good deal, this is in some really nice shape. That shade of Blue is gorgeous.
I keep thinking about Tandems, but they sure arent much fun alone~

Some people turn them into cargo bikes or "burrito" bikes. The biggest negative with tandems (imo) is how much storage space they occupy.
