This one has popped up locally, what's it worth? Seller says he thinks it's a westfield which I would agree with but I had a hard time finding the model. Anything missing here?

Westfield was a manufacturer, they badged the bikes to order. could have any number of badges on it, Columbia, Clipper, Westfield, Pope. It's skiptooth and looks like it would shine up nicely, cokebottle grips and decent chrome. Probably a nice seat under the sheep. Too bad there's no light or rack.

try to press the seller to throw a # out there before you do.

I would actually guess late 40s early 50s.

I agree with late 40's or early 50's. Westfield serial numbers charts are on the WEB, should be easy to determine actual year of production.

Thanks guys! I think I like it because the paint looks really nice. I was going to pick it up to take to a swap meet this weekend. Buyer wants $100, any wiggle room in there for profit you think?

it looks pretty clean and straight, not sure how you might negotiate but good luck!

If it had a straight downtube I might call it late 30's or early 40's but since the frame is more curvey but it has a skiptooth drive I would go with mid to late 40's.

you should be able to look up the year from the serial #. just go here... http://www.vintagecolumbiabikes.com
