convert flux core to gas mig

i have a cheapo harbor freight flux core welder and was wondering if anyone has converted one of these to a gas mig? im sure it can be done, but if someone has done it before, it will save me doing trial and error. thanks :lol:

Never done it(got a good deal on a miller 135), but probably just reversing the polarity and getting gas to the tip. I know probably a lot harder that it sounds.

Along with the polarity change, the gas uses a smaller diameter wire and the liner and tip would have to be changed. You'll also need the gas bottle and regulator. Your local welding supply can get you everything you need or if you're looking to do it cheaper (with used and on sale stuff) ... the welding supply will atleast give you a shopping list.
