"Sometimes Mike's passions get the best of him. He paid $60 for this rusty Elgin from the 1930s, but it turned out to be essentially worthless."
How can that be worthless? I'm sure some guy on here would love to have that ratty Elgin tank bike. It is a Rat waiting to happen.

I notice in the comments section of the article that Leon Dixon (of the infamous NBHAA) worked quickly to piss all over Mike's article. Succinctly illustrates what a lack of character Dixon has, that's really pathetic.

Like any town I'm sure it's got a few problems, but LeClaire represents something desirable and less and less easy to find in America, it is not the cesspool that our big cities and suburbs are quickly becoming. That little town still retains an enviable innocence.
Antique Archeology is less a shop oriented for sales of antiques, rather, it is now more of a museum where the exhibits might be for sale for the right price and the store/entity REALLY supports itself through the sales of coffee mugs, trucker hats, and hoodies. I'm not knockin' it, that's just business.
I picked up a dandy of a restored Black Phantom when I was in IA that day....
