I just had to rewind a couple of times and watch the first 8 seconds of how this guy got on his bike...I tried it, got the bike up, smacked my shin and got tossed to the other side  I'll try it again when my leg and ego feels better...maybe I'm too old or my cruiser is too heavy

believe it or not, I've been doing those stationary burnouts 30 years ago on my old Redline BMX until I flew over the handle bars and landed on my face busting my front tooth. I was trying to see if I could still burnout from moving fast to a complete stop by suddenly clenching my front brake  ....well since my body was already over the front wheel  ... If only there was a video of me wiping out, I could have possibly won $10,000 on Americas Funniest Video  Oh well

Yes the trick is to grab the brake hard enough to lift the rear wheel and ride on the front wheel to a stop, but not hard enough to do a faceplant, something like this

Or if you're feeling young

Hey Outskirt...I think I'll just relegate myself to the occasional bunny-hop onto the curb or over a small puddle...those tricks are a bit too extreme for my non-insured body

I hear that. The most extreme I get is hauling 5 bikes home on my trailer in one load.
