crooked springer fork...

I have an aftermarket springer. Noticed that is cocked to the right and startg to rub on my tire. Anyone experience this and know how to fix it. Any help appreciated.

this happend to me i had to replace the big bolt that runns through the spring mine was bent..

Sometimes you can get them straighter by flipping parts from one side to the other. :|

I got a "cheaper" springer and the U shaped bracket that holds spring and legs is crooked.

Not enuff to rub, just dont let go of bars @ speed!! :lol:

I know i can get a new bracket thingy for under 10 bux, but just aint done it yet.

Maybe that's my problem...if your in the bike. The spring points more to the left.

The rubber snubber in front of the yoke on some of these forks is cut on a taper. Thicker part of it goes at the top. Feel free to arrange the fork legs in different configurations.

i took the springer apart today and switched out the left and right. it worked like a charm. fork is straight and doesnt rub the tire.thanks again for everyones help
