Well it’s a start, this will be my first build off, i enjoy the the page but rarely get to relax and enjoy it. Maybe this build off will force me to make time.. I have only a few ideas what it will look like in the end, just gonna “let it ride” and see what happens….what could go wrong

Wow! You've def got the right attitude and , it appears, the tools and skills to pull off something wild and crazy! Mark me SUBSCRIBED!!

Welcome to your first Build Off @KeithFab21. Rat oN~!

Red brick tires, beehive springer, and a bunch of steel. This is gonna be fun.

Hey has anybody seen a RRB build off taking place? I’m either getting a late start or giving everyone else a head start..lol.. sorry haven’t had anything to post just been busy working since Sunday’s start so better late than never. I got my 1 1/8 headset and bb cups so now I can start machining the head tube and bottom bracket.. should be bending up 4130 sticks this weekend. Still have no idea exactly what the design will be just about everything has been done before so I think I’ll take as it comes, I need to catch to all you guys with a plan…here’s a pic so I can say I’m officially started RRBBO17..

Time to kick it into gear after busy mothers day weekend, got off work early today and off tomorrow so let’s see what I can get done.. I know it’s gonna be a stretch and low bike that’s it no more time to try and work out a design this bike ain’t gonna build itself…. I cut the head tube to my preferred 7 3/4” length machined it for headset cups… long way to go..

Envious of your tools. Especially the roller.
Looking forward to what you come up with.

(Hint: you can click the “insert” tab on the pics and “full size” so we get to see them blown up without needing to click on the pics.) 😁

Thanks for the tip on the pics, I’ve been collecting my hobby equipment and tools for 20 years I’m just average joe that had to build something if I wanted it

Working on the Cruise DeVille today hoping to have some progress pics to post later, as long as people don’t know I’m in the shop today…lol…Just a side note for all those building stuff with limited resources, just know equipment and fancy tools are nice sometimes but they have limitations… this is where my first trusty ole’ harbor freight tube notcher powered by a drill would have been a better choice, but I got through the tube almost..sketchy but successful
