You guys do know that the "Italian" arm of Schwinn had two prototypes, that never made it into production. They were both 28 Speed bikes, 4 up front x 7 in the back. They were skunkworks production deemed the "Expresso Krate" and the women's version "Cappuccino Crate" The spelling differences in the word Krate v Crate was done on purpose so that the racers could tell the two apart. It is rumored that after extensive testing in the hills around Salerno the bikes were stolen by the then 10 year future X games prodigy Shaun White. He quickly had the bikes painted over in, well Orange house paint. Stupid kid!!
