I have this folding bike that I'm modifying. I want to put a suspension fork on it. It kinda fits and all but the bearing crown from the fork is too big for the bearing cup on the bike's heard tube. What to do?

If I am understanding this correctly, there may not be anything you can do.
If you have a ton of parts, look for one that might fit. I did the same kind of thing on a Raleigh 20, non folder. If I read your post right. Here in town we have a bike co-op and they have a bunch of sets.
Measure the steerstem on the fork; is it a 1 1/8" dia? Your frame neck is likely for cups that take a 1" fork steertube. Therein would lie your problem. If it is so, you would need to find some cups that fit the frame and alow you use of the bearings for a 1 1/8" c/w their races.
