Custom Columbia

Here is my Custom Columbia that I have had for about 10 years. This bike has been through a lot of changes over the years. At one time I had it all back OG except for the paint. I even sold this bike once only to get it back in a trade later. Currently as it sits. Has Araya wheels. Back hub is a two speed Sturmey Archer kick Shift. Front hub is English hub also Sansin. Thick Slik tires. Schwinn bars. Double clamp stem. Brooks. Seat. Bike is very smooth on front end when riding over expansion joints and bumps in your path. The springer and tires make for a nice combination of smooth. This bike originally had a front light that wraps around the head tube with on/off switch On the tank. The light was trash. I removed it and added a head badge. Of course I have my bell for cruising the wooded walking paths with blind turns.

The slingshot stem is a nice little touch. Tough, but without having to shout about it

I wanted a urban Industrial look on the build. I used over sized washers in a few places. Wing nuts in a few places Small stuff go with the more obvious.
