Actually got the stuck seatpost out today. So the parts found on Friday go unused except for the saddle rail clamp. I used a new 13/16" to 7/8" post using the seat post clamp to secure it. Also changed out the saddle to a modern Bontrager comfort style. That gives me some adjustment for seat height, doesn't look as cool, but makes for easier pedaling.

I took apart a $1.00 flashlight, I used the battery pack and LED module. I added a toggle switch and some soldered wire connections. The reflector doesn't have a lens and the whole thing is temporary if my LBS will order the actual donor light that I was planning to use.
