Meet my "New Girl". My boss at Weird Stuff Antiques (weirdstuffantiques.com) brought her in this weekend & I just had to have her.
I'm not sure what year she was built (help please) but know the obvious...CWC built Western Flyer...100% original! Not a single dent in the fenders or chaingaurd.Tires are shot but I have another exact set of Davis Deluxes to put back on her. I'll re-upholster the seat myself,clean and re-grease then RIDE HER! I'll be looking for a set of tanks if anyone has some for sale...

Thanx ratina...I'll assume the 53 before the Cw in the serial number is the giveaway. I've always heard that there was some mystery in decoding the Cleveland Welding serial numbers but maybe that's pre-war. At any rate,thanx for the info. The pals I ride with have been kicking around the idea of having a "Step-Thru",aka girl's,bike pub crawl...at least now I'll be ready if we do...P 8)
