Where else but the Rat Rod Bikes Build Off will you ever find a How To on the steps you need to turn Sai Daggers into removable hand grips!!!!
This is such a wild build man!!!
Love it!

DUDE!! THE ONLY WORDS I CAN SAY FOR THIS BUILD CAN'T BE PRINTED. THAT JAWN IS SICK!!!

Little more progress today. Not attaching anything too tight because I need to blow it all apart for paint.

Not sure what I was thinking here, but this at least gives you an idea of what is next. The bats were originally envisioned “handles up”, but somehow they ended up like this. I think they still need to be the other way around, I was just being lazy, but that’s where they’re gonna go.

I kinda like the bats flipped like that.

I do too, and gravity kind of keeps them in place, but if you wanted to grab one of them it’s easier with the handles up. Plus they may still end up with screws or barbed wire attached to them, which would be right behind my back when riding. I’ve got a little time to mess around with them.

Oh no, it seems we must have had another RRB power tool victim..
What's the count @MattiThundrrr ???

I am really digging this wild ride!

Ok, so I tidied up some loose ends, like the bat mounts. Still need to make the bats more lethal.

Keen eyes may have already noticed another addition. You didn’t think I was done adding sharp edges yet, did you?

Originally I was planning on one of these corn blades, as a chain guard, but as I held it up around the bike I came up with this idea and had to get another one.

Speaking of chain guards, the original one was still hanging around, and has a cool metal tip on it, so I added some blood red to it and decided to run with it.

One other idea I haven’t fully fleshed out yet, but mocked it up to see what it would look like:

Hard to see in the clutter of the shop, but here it is all together so far:

One other thing I’ve been working on is more arrows. Turns out they’re rather expensive, but I found these special bolts for disarming your crossbow for real cheap, and I think I can extend them some. If so it’ll end up saving me $50 or so.

That’s it for tonight. Back at it tomorrow. I think I have a good enough project to turn in now, but I still have a little time to make it better!
