So I will apologize upfront...I have no idea how to navigate through forums. Any help will be appreciated. I grew up in So. Cal, raced BMX as a kid and now Ima Grey beard living in Florida. Traditional Sign painter/ Pinstriper & Airbrush artist. I have at the moment, 7 bikes: '54 Schwinn Corvette 3 speed (unrestored), '72 Schwinn Skipper (Strandie conversion), "60 Schwinn Corvette coaster brake (unrestored) '50 Schwinn Excelsior frame, which I am currently building into a "modern" beach cruiser, consisting of custom Kandi paint and all new modern parts. '80 Schwinn Cruiser 5, (all original), an SE Racing Blocks Flyer and a Raleigh Cadent flat bar. I also have a 72 speedster frame and fork. (Not sure what to do with it just yet.)
So I got on this site because there is no bike culture (that I know of) where I live.
So again, I will apologize upfront as I am unfamiliar with forums, threads, how they work and what the etiquette is.
Peace!

thanks. Im in Sarasota.

Thank you to all the "welcomes". Looking forward to showing progress on my current build and getting everyones', advice/suggestions/opinions.
It is a 1952 Schwinn Excelsior frame (in my initial post I listed the year incorrectly). I've spared little expense on it. Its going to be a coaster brake cruiser, with mostly BMX parts featuring Landing Gears and a custom kandi root beer paint job. Components are black with some tasteful touches of gold anodized parts (pedals, stem and seat clamp). This will be my first build using all new parts.
I hope it turns out as cool as it looks in my head!
