Got the bars swapped out today, They did have a bit of rust that was through the chrome so I touched them up with some chrome in a can. Don't look too bad. Then I painted and re-installed the one side plugs for the holes. Also swapped the rims with the ones I got the other day...Mo spokes Mo betta. :mrgreen:

I actually tried them that way first but it was just too low to be comfortable on this bike.

It's off of a Wal-mart mountain bike Mongoose D90 I think.

That's what I was going for, something simple but with "that race look". I'll probably paint it later to look like brushed aluminum. Took me forever to get it cut out with my little dremal tool.

Thanks Yoothgeye! I just thought that this was so much a mellow build compared to others that it just didn't justify a place in the "anything goes" build section and with no welder it was just kinda bland so I'll stick to what I know and run my "RaTornado" (Ratty Tornado) in the traditional category.

Little update on Dark Horse 2, I found a bike with a set of nice condition safe-lite mags on it so I swapped them onto this bike. They look great! I'm going to eventually swap the front tire for another 20x3 and get a half-link for the chain so it fits properly. Went on with a little headache but nothing I can't handle, first the chain rubbed the tire so I had to flip the dished sprocket to fix that issue then the master link caught on the frame so I had to flip it so the clip is on the inside, tight tolerance all around this bike but it all works.
