Does anyone know how to crack the code of tire dating? I have a N.O.S. Firestone knobby and an N.O.S. Goodyear slick I'd like to date. Thanx, Mark

not sure, i would guess they came out later than 60 just based off muscle bike craze starting after the stingrays in 64, but im not up to snuff of my older tires. i usually buy the repops so i know ive got good riders

yeshoney seems to be the vintage/odd/rare tire and wheel go-to-guy, maybe he could chime in ? :)

You probably should go to the tire's parents, and declare your intentions. Vintage tires are kinda old fashioned that way! ~Adam
