My wife found this Norwegian folder on craigslist and it is actually a really cool bike. Cant find any information on it that isnt in Norwegian and dbs still makes bikes, but you can only get them in Norway. It has a drum brake in front, a 2 speed kickback coaster in the rear.

It also has a cool built in lock that locks the back wheel so it cannot turn and the key is only released when it is locked so it cant fall out and get lost

The wiring for the rear light follows the underside of the fender and then actually plugs into the frame at the bottom bracket

It is a 1975 model and very well built. The guy we got it from found it in his grandpas barn and all he knew about it was that he thought his grandpa kept it with his boat. (it was marked with a label saying "yacht discovery marie").
The dbs bike company was very surprised that one of these found its way to the states. They have started remaking this model now, but with 24" tires rather than the 20" that are on this one.
How do you put a value on this?

An update for this 2 piece bike: DBS or das beste sykel or "the best bike". Still making high quality bikes today but have no distribution outside of Norway. Parts are almost impossible to come by. Then via instagram I get contacted by a guy in Norway who loves the kombis ( they actually are huge their among the hipsters). He thought it was so cool that one made its way to America that he said he would help me get the parts that I needed. Well recently I recieved a care package from Norway.

All original chainguard, grips, headlight, generator and wiring... Pretty much everything I needed to complete this awesome little ride except for the seat. And it cost me... Nothing. Not a dime. I am, however, sending my friend a a couple t shirts and a brake lever cable adjuster. What a deal
