Small change to the controls and this chain tensioner took forever. I was making one spring loaded and realized part of it was perfect for this flat space

Ran great for a half mile. I tried to record it and it sheared off all of the bolts holding the sprocket

That moment when you decided to do everything wrong on purpose. All the details people in motorized bike forums complain about and for a half mile, one glorious half mile it works flawlessly. Grrrrrrr. At least I still have all of my spokes.

There is a machine shop a couple of blocks from the house. I am tempted to take the other wheel up there and make a hub. These are threaded on the inside like a euro bottom bracket. I could make one in there that has tapped flange on both sides for the sprocket and brake to accept this freewheel.
