i dug this thing out of a scrap pile a couple years ago and after many many hours of careful polishing and buffing and cleaning she is as clean and bright and as original as she will ever be again. minus a full restoration including chroming and paint and decals. i just couldnt bring myself to do all that when she was still showing original paint and chrome.
here are a few before, during and after pictures.

i love her to death and shes a fantastic ride. i peddle aroud town quite often on her.

horn is off getting fixed. it looked to have had batteries in it for quite some time cause of all the corrosion. hopefully it can be fixed

I just picked up an Oct '59 jaguar! A close relative to yours! What did you use to restore the paint/chrome? Any techniques or tips?? Really cool, can't wait to fix mine up.
