*fun fact: the hill is called Repack because they would have to repack the grease in the hubs because the heat generated during braking would cook it right outta the hubs! Must've felt so cool, skidding to a halt and throwing down the smoking remains of the bike

I'm guessing that coaster brakes don't do well on a downhill bike?

They are fine at the top of the hill...the longer the downhill the less 'fine' they become .
