Delta Battery Can

I've had these for a while now , they came with a package deal . Where was the battery can designed to fit ?

I wanting to mount it to a old Monark tank bike so I am somewhat
limited on options ?

I'd hang it off of the seat tube like a bottle holder.

I'd say hang it under the top tube, so the DELTA text is upright. Can we see the top of it, is there a bracket or anything like that?

Brackets are on the bottom and I can't use the top tube with a tank

I think that it was designed to fit on top of the down tube. That is where I have the same battery can mounted on my mens' Spaceliner with horizontal ( not 7 ) tank.
