I will be in the Denver area starting tonight and all of next week for business. Is there any "must see" bicycle related things to do?
I plan on taking a ride on the bike paths using the public bikes that Denver has.

Is there any weekly pub crawls or pub/cafes where people hang out? Any really cool bike shops?

I think there's a shop called "Cycle Analysts" that's worth checking out. They usually have some old used bikes on hand, and I remember them having a few display cases filled with old odd n ends - particularly a bottom bracket mount generator. I remember they had a couple of 24" varsities when I lived in Denver years ago.

I used to go there because they were one of the only shops that stocked parts for American bikes/wald accessories, etc.

Oh if you're into photography though, there's a shop called "The Camera Trader" that is an absolute must see. They downsized in recent years, last time I visited two years ago the shop was still pretty impressively stock and had a nice "bargain shelf".

You are a bit early for Denver Cruiser official rides (a blast!), but they often do impromptu rides when the weather is nice (like now). There's a bar hop this Sunday for Easter. Check them out on website or facebook to find a sub-group. Always a good time. http://www.denvercruisers.com
