Detroit City's Latest Find!!!

Here is a cool old Schwinn Heavy Duty I came across , I found this bike in an abandon building near the old Packard Plant on Detroit's Eastside , it was sitting on 2 flats and the fenders were badly rusted , Made some must needed changes , My plans are to eliminate the rust and ride this bike rat....Im thinking of maybe puting the cargo basket upfront but maybe not , it's still up in te air at this point ..

Honestly we do some scrapin and we took a dive into a few buildings that were way open and came up on this find , we hung with the crew that was doing the referb at the Old Train depot , they gave us a heads up on the find , I thought they were just mis leading but we turned up a good find .....I think we were just as scared as each other .....here are a few pics of the inside ...

My dad works at Foreman Brothers, the mail carrier thing? Its like a block away from the train station. Made the wrong turn yesterday, and got real close to the station. Pretty cool.

If you ever get a chance take your bike across the very upper level and at least ride once across like I did , you never know if they will make it opperable again!!!
