My step son and his brute of a buddy came up to the campsite in the Northwoods of Wisconsin for the past couple days and helped me 'make some wood'. I run the chainsaw, cut the trees down and into chunks, and they haul out on the ATV and my Chariot of Firewood I put together during our Pedal Car, Wagon, Cart build off a few winter's back, and then stack the wood for next year's season.
On our way home yesterday we stopped in Minnesota's first city, Stillwater, which is located on the St Croix River that separates MN and WI. Fun town, always something to do, even safely in the Covid era. Dinner outside, get an up close look at the recently converted lift bridge that is now foot and bike traffic only, and some outdoor music by a favorite acoustic trio.
